Far Away
There are a hundred things
that I wish I could share with you
my love.
A walk in the park as the sun is setting,
a smile in the morning,
a soft touch as we pass in the hallway,
soft kisses as the moon begins to rise
and we fall asleep in each other's arms.
But even though these things are not possible
right now...
We share the sky as night closes around us.
The stars that you see
are the stars in my vision,
and I often wonder if you're looking up, too.
Thinking of you and our shared love,
so far away,
but just as close,
as the stars in my eyes.
